Troy native Al Mulder (Vietnam Era Veteran) shared the dramatic story of concealing and protecting Jewish citizens in Holland from Nazi soldiers during World War II at our January 4, 2017, monthly breakfast.
His presentation stirred the pride of those veterans in attendance, especially those that served in the second world war. Mulder retold his personal experiences as a child living in Holland. His parents worked tirelessly and under grave conditions to conceal and save several Jewish citizens, including some families, from Nazi persecution and detainment.
Al Mulder’s story left a lasting impact on all of those in attendance. Come join us at our next monthly breakfast on the 1st Wednesday of each month and listen to guest speakers, historians, and others.
