September 11, 2001. The World Trade Centers

On September 11, 2001, several civilian aircraft were hijacked by foreign terrorists. Those terrorists’ actions caused immeasurable devastation on our nation by crashing two aircraft into the World Trade Centers in New York City. Over 3,000 people lost their lives that day including fire fighters, paramedics, and police.

The Miami Valley Veterans Museum is honored to host and display a piece of steel from the Twin Towers to remember all of those who lost their lives that day.
